Karissa Condoianis,
Director of Communications for the State Fair of Texas

We are delighted to welcome Karissa Condoianis, who oversees Public Relations for the State Fair of Texas. Karissa will share insights about this year’s Fair, what goes into planning it, how it evolves from year to year, and the story of how Dallas became home to this beloved tradition. She’ll also touch on the Fair’s rich history and offer a glimpse of what’s ahead. Karissa is a dynamic speaker, and we know you’ll enjoy hearing her behind-the-scenes perspective on one of Texas’s favorite events.

Please plan to stay after the meeting to help with the Christmas decorating.  We have the perfect job for you!

Community Outreach “Bring It”

As we head into the holiday season, our Community Outreach request is for donations to support our Christmas service projects. We will be providing pajamas to the children at Landauer along with small snacks and gifts. Your donation will go towards the purchase of those items. If you will not be at the meeting, you can still donate online.

  • Reservations close 5 days before the event so that we may finalize arrangements with the caterer.
  • You will NOT receive tickets in the mail.
  • Your confirmation of purchase will be your receipt delivered to your email address.

Reservation Cancellations and Ticket Refund Policy

  • All purchases are final. No refunds will be issued.
  • Your ticket is transferable to another person. Please contact us to change the name on the reservation.

Please note, the Member Meeting and Speaker Presentation takes place upstairs on the 2nd level. Due to the historic status of the Alexander Mansion, we do not have an elevator. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The lunch is on the main floor of the Alexander Mansion. There is an accessible ramp on the right hand side of the front porch.
