In June 2024, Sheree & Pat Koester generously donated the Victrola & records you will see in the corner of the French room at the Alexander Mansion.

This family heirloom has been in the Carl Rediske family for many years. This Victor Victrola was purchased in 1913 by Sheree’s Great Aunt, Miss Rose Rediske, (her grandmother’s older sister), for their father, Carl Rediske (Sheree’s great-grandfather). It was a gift given to him for his birthday, as he loved music. It has been in Sheree’s family since that time.

The Victrola lived most of its life in LaCrosse, Wisconsin up until 1980 when it was gifted to Sheree’s older brother, Keith Wrobel, by Great Aunt Rose. At that time it was carefully relocated to Texas where it resides to this day. Sheree was gifted it from Keith in 2022. And now, in 2024, Sheree & Pat graciously offered it to the Dallas Woman’s Forum as a donation. The Alexander Mansion was happy to welcome this new addition, and it has been appropriately placed in the “Music/French Room” on the 1st floor for all to enjoy.
