First and Second Floor Plans of the Alexander Mansion

The Alexander Mansion offers unique and flexible layouts that accommodate a wide variety of events. From intimate luncheons to elegant weddings and fundraising galas, the space can be tailored to suit your needs. Use the floor plans below to explore each level of the Mansion.

On the First Floor, the Front Porch offers space for a check-in table. Porch decorations can set the tone for your event. Ample space in the Entry Foyer accommodates a baby grand piano and room to mingle.

The Writing Room and French Room offer elegant areas to greet your guests. When the Mansion is setup for afternoon tea, we use these rooms for dining space. 

The Library works well for live music, dining tables or comfortable seating for casual conversations.

The Stair Hall will be a focal point during your event as it provides the showstopping view of the stained glass window on the landing above. The stair landing is a beautiful option for wedding ceremonies and photo opportunities.

The large formal Dining Room offers plenty of space for a buffet or dining tables. The Solarium Porch next to the Dining Room is a wonderful destination for a bar or additional smaller dining tables.

The service areas off of the Dining Room are the Butler’s Pantry and the Kitchen, which are both available for your use during your event.

First Floor

On the Second Floor, the Blair Room Ballroom takes center stage as a ceremony space, reception space, or large meeting room.

The connecting Clark Room offers additional space for dining tables, or can serve as a staging area for dinner service.

The two private Dressing Rooms are available for the bride and groom’s wedding party or can be used as “green rooms” for special guest speakers, staging areas, or breakout sessions.

The President’s Room serves as the office for the Dallas Woman’s Forum and is not available for use during a rental event.
