About the Book
What if you wrote a steamy, erotic novel that was so hot bookstores couldn’t keep it on their shelves? What if you couldn’t tell anyone you wrote it?
At night, nurse Cassie Calabria pens a bodice-ripper novel, using an alias. She sends it to a few agents, then forgets about it. She’s more than surprised when she gets an offer for a publisher to include her book, Wild Rose, in a “summer-of-love special.” Wild Rose becomes a blazing bestseller. Suddenly she realizes she can’t let anyone know that she wrote it. What would her children think? Or her own mother, who “taught her better,” and, worse, her husband who would question her made-up fantasies of sex on the beach. How could she be thrown into the “red-light district” spotlight and still be a good mom?
Unless she went incognito.
From the Author, Jeanne Skartsiaris
When I’m not writing, I work as a Sonographer. I spend my days looking at cute babies. It’s pretty fun most of the time. It was a great career to work in while I finished college with a degree in photography. My goal was to get my Master’s degree in Bio-communication and become a Medical Illustrator. I was lucky enough to find a job right out of college as a Medical Photographer for a plaintiff’s law firm. Interesting work. (never did get the Master’s degree) Each case was different and I learned a lot about safety issues. Truck wrecks, plane crashes, malpractice, electrocution, you name it. As a photographer I saw some pretty awful stuff and worked in the field for seventeen years. No wonder I’m such a safety freak.
Surviving Life, Snow Globe and Dance Like You Mean It are available on amazon and other booksellers.
Dance Like You Mean It was a finalist in the humor category in the 2017 Best Book Awards by American Book Fest!
